Purchasing Manager

About the Company & Opportunity :

  • CFS, NY is working with an established Non-Profit conveniently located Harlem near multiple forms of public transportation
  • The organization aids seniors to live independently, provides families for children, arranges safe and affordable housing, maintains hunger prevention centers and provides services for immigrants and refugees.
  • They run various programs to aid in the areas mentioned above!
  • This will be a full-time, hybrid position

Responsibilities of the Purchasing Manager :

  • Handling procurement / purchasing & supply ordering primarily via email
  • Sending quotes & other relevant info to vendors; maintaining strong vendor relationships
  • Approving invoices in the system
  • Working closely with assigned managers / buildings on purchasing needs

    • Experience Preferred of the Purchasing Manager :

  • Prior Procurement / Purchasing experience required
  • Real estate experience a plus, but not required!
  • AvidXchange experience is a plus!
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Eager to join a strong, collaborative team!
