This position is eligible to work a hybrid schedule from the Wichita, KS area.

Essential Functions :

• Summer paid internship working in one of EMC's branch underwriting departments
• Assists underwriters in obtaining information needed to properly evaluate new business and renewal submissions, including correspondence with agents and other outside sources
• Learns EMC culture, business processes and products
• Gains an understanding of the insurance underwriting process

The hiring salary range for this position will vary based on geographic location, falling within either the $19.50 to $23.00 range. A hiring range represents a subset of the full salary range. The actual salary will depend on several factors, including relevant education, skills, and experience of an applicant, geographic location, and business needs.
