About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

Profession : Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Shift : Day 3x12-Hour

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (07 : 00 - 19 : 30)

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience required

License : Washington State Respiratory license required

Certifications : BLS, RRT, ACLS, NRP, PALS

Must-Have : Level IV NICU trained Respiratory Therapist willing to work in Adult floor and ICU

Description :

Position requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist with NICU experience.

MUST have Level IV NICU training.

Candidates must be willing to work on the Adult floor and in the ICU.

Weekend shifts may be required as needed by the unit.

No on-call duty is required.

Floating within the hospital is expected; floating to sister facilities is not.

The facility serves neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, and geriatric patients.

Daily census ranges from 10-15 patients.

Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy.

Patient populations include heart, lung, kidney, and liver transplant patients, as well as those requiring ECMO and other specialized respiratory care.

Special procedures require familiarity with level IV NICU patients, including those as young as 22 weeks gestation and comfort with high acuity care.

Candidates should be experienced with multiple types of ventilators, including the Servo U and Draeger models.

Experience with Epic charting system is preferred, but not mandatory.

Candidates should ensure they meet all background and compliance requirements prior to submitting applications.
