Position Overview Southern Illinois University School of Medicine (SIU SOM) seeks a Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics to join our Decatur Residency Program and affiliated Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This faculty position offers a meaningful mix of clinical care, teaching, and community engagement — serving a diverse patient population while mentoring residents and medical students.
Provide both outpatient and inpatient family medicine, including obstetrical care.
- Supervise and teach residents and medical students in clinic and hospital settings.
- Lead teaching rounds on hospitalized and OB patients.
- Participate in academic activities such as lectures, seminars, and conferences.
- Serve on departmental, residency, and hospital committees and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Support and participate in research and scholarly projects.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
