This travel nursing job offers the opportunity to work in a Beacon Designated Intensive Care Unit, providing critical care to a diverse patient population in a city renowned for its mountain views, outdoor recreation, and vibrant arts scene.\n

\n\nNeuro ICU RN Job Details\n \n

  • Location : Reno, Nevada 89502 (Nevada nursing jobs)\n
  • Unit : Neuro ICU (Roseview ICU – 18 beds, Beacon Designated)\n
  • Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse\n
  • Start Date : November 2, 2025\n
  • End Date : January 31, 2026\n
  • Contract Duration : 13 weeks\n
  • Shift : 3x12 hour nights (18 : 45 – 07 : 15)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Holiday Requirements : Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays during the assignment (Eve + Day = 1 holiday)\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1880 - $2020\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Nevada RN license (required prior to start)\n
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (required for ICU nursing jobs)\n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Neuro ICU experience\n
  • Experience caring for Neuro Trauma and post Neuro-surgery patients\n
  • Preferred : Experience with post Alteplase, post Thrombectomy, and external ventricular drains\n
  • Ability to float to other critical care units within competency as needed\n
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and pick up additional shifts as required\n

    • \n\nICU Nurse Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in the Neuro ICU\n
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for patients with complex neurological and medical conditions\n
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes\n
  • Care for patients with ischemic / hemorrhagic stroke, neurologic tumors, seizures, and general medical ICU conditions (DKA, sepsis, respiratory issues)\n
  • Utilize advanced technologies and evidence-based practices in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment\n
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures\n
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and uphold standards of clinical excellence\n
