Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shop Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in a shop setting, with responsibilities that include general labor duties, cleaning work areas, utilizing hand and power tools, sanding and grinding materials, and operating machinery once fully trained.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties in a shop setting.
• Clean and maintain work areas.
• Utilize hand and power tools efficiently.
• Sand and grind materials as required.
• Operate machinery after receiving complete training.

Work Environment

The position is based in a large shop / manufacturing environment. The facility is non-climate controlled, with dock doors open and fans used to manage temperature during warmer seasons. The role operates on the 1st shift, from 7 AM to 3 : 30 PM, with overtime available starting at 6 AM. Pay is determined based on the candidate's needs and experience in the field.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Galion, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $21.00 / hr.
