A community-focused healthcare organization is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join its Primary Care team. About the Opportunity :
- Shift : Days
- Schedule : Monday to Friday
- Hours : 8am to 6pm
- Setting : Primary Care Clinic
Responsibilities :
Conduct patient interviews and intake; prepare patients for triage and provider visitsObtain and document vital signs; identify and report abnormal resultsCollect specimens and perform diagnostic point-of-care testingAdminister immunizations and medications in accordance with established safety and infection control standardsDocument all care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)Provide patient and family education, documenting teaching and follow-upParticipate in emergency events and ensure compliance with safety protocolsMaintain and ensure proper function of clinical equipmentSupport a positive patient experience through professional communication and compassionate careQualifications :
1+ year of Clinical experienceGraduate of an accredited Nursing Program (RN or LPN).Current NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and / or licensed Registered Nurse (RN)BLS certificationExperience with vital signs monitoring, specimen collection, and point-of-care testingWorking knowledge of EMR documentationDesired Skills :
3+ years of experience in a Pediatric and / or Primary Care role / settingFamiliarity with Ambulatory Care workflows
