The ideal candidate is a self-starter, problem-solver, customer-focused, and thrives on continuous improvement. Acting as the voice of quality from prototype through mass production, you'll lead cross-functional problem-solving, validate part quality, and establish quality controls that enable fast paced launches without compromising safety, customer experience or yield.
What You'll Do
- Provide hands-on quality oversight from prototype to production ramp-up, identifying and resolving issues well ahead of Pilot production
- Lead cross-functional problem-solving teams to drive rapid process and product improvements during new vehicle launches, using QA methodologies, root cause analysis, and corrective / preventive actions
- Analyze dimensional data from part stack-ups and supplier measurements; translate findings into vehicle-level solutions
- Develop control plans and inspection standards to ensure critical features are consistently controlled during assembly and production
- Collaborate with NPI, design, manufacturing, and suppliers to proactively strengthen part and process quality, ensuring robust builds
