Logistics Technician

SUMMARY : Provides assistance to all departments by providing logistical support as required. This includes but is not limited to shipping / receiving, disposition, staging and sample mounting. This position will work under the direction of the Logistics Coordinator. This position may perform duties of a sensitive and confidential nature.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Follows all safety rules and company policies.
• Receives deliveries and logs / enters samples into the inventory system.
• Locates and retrieves test specimens and associated hardware.
• Handles disposition of test specimens and hardware after testing.
• Updates inventory system with disposition of samples / specimens.
• Performs general housekeeping tasks.
• Prepares items for shipping as required.
• Responsible for setting up shipping of materials into and out of facility.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

QUALIFICATIONS :

Required : High School
