Supply Chain Specialist - II

Reason for Opening: covering a leave of absence (approx 6 months).Schedule: work onsite 5 days/week to start. Once ramped up, can do hybrid 4 days onsite/1 day offsite per week.
Responsibilities:
• Create and execute raw materials plan, placing purchasing orders, follow up on open orders
• Collaborate with suppliers and Global Sourcing to ensure on time delivery
• Report and escalation on material supply issue and constrains including root cause and preventive actions
• Assure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Bachelor's degree and 1 year in supply chain or related discipline or 2 years+ of operations or supply chain experience at a pharmaceutical, biotech or medical company
• Working knowledge and understanding of current Code of the Federal Regulations (CFR's) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP's)
• Experience with Oracle EBS, SAP or similar is strongly preferred
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• APICS certification and/or relevant course work
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential in this reciprocal work environment
• High energy level and a positive outlook to achieve personal and organizational goals and overcome obstacles
• Thrives in a startup, fast-paced environment with ‘can do’ attitude under minimal direction and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership in areas of responsibility
• Willing to accept temporary responsibilities outside of initial job description
Overall role: support to Director of Supply Chain and her team; primary duties of this role will go to other team members while an FTE is out on leave. This temp role to focus on requisition and report monitoring, submitting requests
