PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & PROJECTS
Review transactions (A / R, A / P, cash, inventory, etc.) for accuracyPost and / or review journal entriesAccountable for maintaining accurate general ledgersReview weekly cash forecasts prepared by the Property AccountantsEnsure timely payment of vendor paymentsEnsure timely and accurate bill backs / splits, as neededComplete bank reconciliations for 200+ accountsEnsure month-end close is completed thoroughly and timelyEnsure monthly / quarterly tasks are completed including escrow transfers, owners cash reconciliations, and replacement reserve reimbursements requestsPublish financial reports, forecasts, and other reports timely and accurately, as requestedConduct tasks as needed to successfully complete the annual year-end close process, including CAM reconciliations, the timely filing of all tax returns and any lender reports.Lead, manage, and hold your direct reports accountable for their job duties. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related fieldMinimum 5+ years of accounting experience, with 2+ years' experience in leading team membersGillespie Group requires a background and drug screen as a condition of employment. A valid driving license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance are required. The position requires individuals to furnish their own vehicle to fulfill all the job's functions.
