Insurance Billing Collection Assistant

A company is looking for an Insurance / Billing Collection Assistant III (Remote) in the Anesthesiology department.

Key Responsibilities

Perform advanced follow-up on insurance billing and collection activities to ensure timely payments for physician services

Verify accuracy of patient accounts and insurance information, and make collection calls as needed

Utilize system tools for claim submission and status inquiries, while supporting customer service and training new staff

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent certification, or a combination of education and experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing or insurance

No specific certification required for this position

Experience with claims resolution and medical billing is preferred

Proficiency in using Epic and other relevant software tools is advantageous
