Job Description

As a Security Officer - Telecom Site Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more.

As a valued member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic tech and media location. In this unarmed patrol position, your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all individuals on site. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, responding to inquiries and assisting with any security-related concerns. DayTime Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including both indoor and outdoor areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or maintenance needs observed during patrols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related concerns specific to a tech, media, or telecom environment.
• Remain alert to changes in the environment and adapt patrol routes or activities as needed based on site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Must have at least 2+ years of security experience.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
