Summary

Learning Through Play Child Development Center is seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler and Preschool Teacher to join our nurturing team. We offer a unique, low-child-to-teacher ratio environment, ensuring individualized attention for each child in our two classrooms. Our program prioritizes a family-oriented approach, emphasizing a warm, caring, and safe atmosphere where children thrive.

This role involves actively participating in the planning and implementation of engaging and developmentally appropriate activities that enhance the children’s learning and overall well-being. You will be an integral member of a collaborative three-teacher team, requiring effective communication, teamwork, and a positive disposition.

Essential qualifications include :

• 18 and Older
• Reliable transportation
• Completion of a DCF 45-hour childcare training program.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications (assistance with obtaining these certifications is available if needed).

The position offers a competitive compensation package, including paid Federal holidays, and operates Monday through Friday, 7 : 30 AM to 5 : 30 PM.

Providing a safe, clean, caring, and nurturing atmosphere for children, While also providing quality Early Childhood Education. We enjoy the benefits of having a small group size classroom, which allows us to have more one-on-one time with each child. Learning Through Play Child Development Center has been in business since December 2015.
