Job Details :

  • Work days, Saturday through Monday from 8 : 30 AM to 9 : 00 PM
  • Participate in holiday rotation as required
  • Participate in standby rotation
  • Weekend work not required but can volunteer
  • Perform approximately 28 scans / studies per day
  • Common imaging studies include brain, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, breast, cardiac, prostate, and MSK
  • Image patients with implanted devices and research them prior to imaging
  • Experience in MRI cardiac, breast, and breast biopsy MRI encouraged
  • IV skills required - must be able to start IVs
  • May need to float or cover other areas dependent on operational needs
  • Work with two scanners at main hospital and three outpatient clinics
  • Use EPIC EMR system and Sectra PACS
  • Equipment includes GE 1.5T & 3T at main hospital, Philips and Hitachi at outpatient clinics
  • Work with radiology aides who assist MRI technologists
  • Personal scrubs required (hospital scrubs only provided to OR staff)
  • Department-specific orientation provided
  • Required certifications : ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), BLS for Healthcare worker
  • Washington State Radiologic Technologist License required unless ARRT(MR) achieved through ARRT Primary Pathway
  • ARRT MRI Certification preferred
  • N95 fit testing required

    This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive radiology department with advanced MRI services across multiple locations. The organization features two MRI scanners at the main hospital and three additional outpatient clinic locations, providing extensive imaging capabilities. The facility maintains modern equipment including GE 1.5T and 3T systems at the main hospital and Philips and Hitachi systems at outpatient locations. The radiology department works with in-house radiologists and maintains high standards for patient care with comprehensive support staff.
