Accounts Receivable Specialist

SEi is looking for a career driven, detail oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our winning team! This position will handle Accounts Receivable duties on a daily basis and provide back-up and functional support in the accounting department.

SHIFT:

Monday-Friday

8:00AM-5PM

Starting Wage

$22.00-$25.00 (Based on experience)

LOCATION:

Omaha Office (In-Person Position)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• All aspects of cash application – EFT, ACH, Cash, Checks, Online payments, and any other form of cash transaction.
• Set up install jobs for processing in the accounting system
• Call customers with declined or expired credit cards
• Set up & update all RMR (recurring monthly revenue) and auto-pay accounts
• Process all credit memos
• Process all billings for service, jobs, and any other billable items
• Communicate daily with the sales team to secure checks, paperwork, and customer satisfaction.
• Update all accounts receivable information.
• Research and respond to all accounts receivable inquiries in a prompt manner.
• Efficiently handle all aspects of incoming and outgoing mail
• Other duties as assigned

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Communicates effectively in both oral and written communications. Communicates with supervisors, peers, subordinates and other Company staff; working as part of a team contributing to company goals.

REASONING ABILITY: Job requires being careful about detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks. Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts and draw conclusions drawing upon experience, research and input from peers. This position performs multiple job tasks on a daily basis.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Seeing and hearing: Read documents, computer screen, answer phones, and communicate in person. Manual dexterity: utilizing phone, typing, and writing.

Ability to Commute:

• Omaha, NE 68130 (Required)

• 2-3 years of previous experience handling Accounts Receivable
• Associate’s Degree – Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Proven ability to understand general accounting practices/principles
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to modify behavior to manage situations and individuals involved
• Ability to understand general accounting practices/principles
• Reliable and professional with internal and external customers
• Previous experience with Word, Excel, and able to utilize internet technology (email, scanner, copier, calculator)
• Ability to work independently
