Job Description
This is a remote position.
As a Remote Data Entry Keyer , you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data from various sources into our internal systems (ERP, spreadsheets, databases, etc.). You will ensure data integrity, assist with record-keeping, and support internal teams (operations, accounting, logistics) by providing reliable data support.
Key Responsibilities
Enter data from paper or digital documents (invoices, forms, logs, reports) into spreadsheets, databases, or company systems
Review and verify data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness
Correct discrepancies or flag them for follow-up
Maintain confidentiality and data security practices
Assist with periodic audits or reconciliations
Provide reports or summaries as requested (e.g. status of data entry, error logs)
Collaborate remotely with other departments to collect necessary information
Meet daily / weekly productivity and quality benchmarks
Suggest or participate in process improvement initiatives related to data workflows
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in data entry, data processing, or administrative roles
Excellent typing speed and accuracy
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and / or Google Sheets
Familiarity with database or ERP systems is a plus
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain focus
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office environment
Preferred / Nice to Have :
Experience in the oilfield, energy, or equipment rental industries
Basic understanding of accounting or inventory concepts
Experience handling confidential or sensitive data
Familiarity with data validation, lookup functions, macros, or scripting
