Position Summary : We are looking for a natural Sales Leader with direct freight brokerage experience who can influence and motivate others to perform at a high level. This candidate will act as a coach and advocate to develop and train a sales team while creating an encouraging and positive environment. The Sales Manager will go above and beyond expectations to grow and mentor their team and will need to be energetic, creative and knowledgeable to overcome challenges daily.

Day To Day Functions :

• Conduct sales training for all new sales employees.
• Conduct weekly & monthly sales meetings.
• Create sales targets and track daily, weekly and monthly pacing based on projections.
• Conduct performance reviews for assigned team members.
• Manage the CRM, track data being entered and run reports as needed.
• Ensure goals and expectations are achieved such as : phone stats, new customers, revenue, margins and other daily metrics.
• Assist with customer quotes and execution of day-to-day operations including but not limited to building, booking and dispatching loads.
• Assist with hiring process.
• Communicate, train, and manage remote employees.
