Training Specialist - ERP Software
Position Overview
We are seeking a Training Specialist to design, develop, and deliver effective training programs for our ERP software users. This role combines content creation (manuals, user guides, training documents) with live instruction (virtual and / or in-person training sessions). The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, experienced in adult learning principles, and comfortable with technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain user documentation, training manuals, quick reference guides, and other learning resources.
- Deliver engaging training sessions for new and existing ERP users via Microsoft Teams, webinars, and in-person workshops.
- Partner with internal teams (product, support, customer success) to ensure training materials are accurate, clear, and aligned with product updates.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and adapt materials / programs based on user feedback.
- Support the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring they are set up for success with the ERP platform.
- Stay current with ERP system features and functionality, incorporating new capabilities into training programs.
- Contribute to the development of e-learning modules, video tutorials, and knowledge base articles as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, Information Systems, or related field required.3+ years of experience in training, instructional design, or technical education (software or technology environment strongly preferred).Prior experience working with ERP software (user, trainer, or support role) strongly preferred.Strong written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to create clear and effective documentation.Confident presenter with excellent verbal communication and facilitation skills.Proficient with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, and presentation toolsAbility to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.If you thrive on solving complex problems and building meaningful connections, we'd love to hear from you.
