About The Position

We are seeking a board-certified Maternal Fetal Medicine physician for a 35-day locum tenens assignment in Mississippi. This urgent opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, with a flexible start date depending on credentialing, and involves rotating clinic assignments throughout the week, 8-hour clinic days, potential weeknight call, and 24-hour weekend call coverage.

  • Schedule : Clinic : 8 hours; may include weeknight call. Weekend call shift is Friday 2pm to Monday 6 : 45am with 24-hour coverage.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Rotate assignments at various clinics during the week as part of a flexible schedule
  • Provide specialized care in maternal fetal medicine, including high-risk obstetrics management
  • Participate in 8-hour clinic days and cover weeknight call as needed
  • Provide 24-hour call coverage on weekends (Friday 2pm to Monday 6 : 45am)
  • Collaborate with support staff to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Review and adhere to clinic-specific requirements for patient volume and operational protocols

  • Must hold a valid Mississippi medical license
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration required
  • Board certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine required
  • Assignment start date may be flexible depending on credentialing timeline
