The Program Engineering Manager is responsible for the hands-on leadership and coordination of a multi-disciplinary engineering team and supervises the overall execution of engineering activities for automation and control system projects for the Great Lakes business unit. This role oversees day-to-day engineering operations, ensuring technical accuracy, resource allocation, adherence to operational SOP's, project delivery excellence and department development to meet the strategic initiatives of the business unit. You will :

LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT :

• Lead and develop Group Engineering Managers, Principal Engineers and engineers across electrical and mechanical disciplines to promote growth within your team.
• Manage change and communication within the organization.
• Actively promote and enforce adherence to Safety, Health, and Environment rules and procedures.
• Support the development and implementation of standard work processes, design templates, and engineering best practices to drive quality and efficiency.
• Provide guidance to align engineering resources and project needs.
• Manage staff utilization; forecast and identify gaps and risks.
• Coordinate with other business units to maintain utilization and fill skill gaps.
• Foster a spirit of commitment to clients, innovation and excellence in execution.
