SUMMARY

Loads and prepares tractor trailers for delivery and unloads any incoming products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Pulls and loads orders using a forklift, and / or pallet jack.
  • Stretch wrapped pallets.
  • Confirms all proper code dates, and confirms wood or plastic pallet orders.
  • Unloads all incoming product, always counting, signing, and dating all packing slips, noting discrepancies.
  • Maintains receiving logs.
  • Report packing slips to production supervisor.
  • Rotates product to maintain freshness.
  • Maintains clear warehouse perimeters.
  • Sweeps and mops floor, walls, and ceiling.

QUALIFICATION EDUCTION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School diplomas or general equivalency diploma (GED) and;
  • Three to six months related experience and / or training or;
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
