About The Position

State License : Texas

Certifications : Must possess a valid Texas license for SLP, SLPA, or SLP Fellow.

Practice Setting : On-site

Start Date : January 2026

Length of Assignment : 520 hours (approx. 14 weeks)

Schedule : Full-time : 7 : 30am-4pm or Part-time : 8am-noon

Shifts : Monday-Friday

Our client is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join their team on a contract basis . The primary responsibility is to work with students, and occasionally their families, to provide speech therapy to children who are hard of hearing or deaf. Most children have some ability to hear and speak using spoken word, often with the help of listening devices like cochlear implants or hearing aids. Sessions are 30-45 minutes long and scheduled primarily in the mornings, with afternoons reserved for record keeping.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide speech therapy sessions to children who are hard of hearing or deaf.
  • Schedule and conduct 30-45 minute therapy sessions, primarily back-to-back in the mornings.
  • Engage in record keeping activities during the afternoons.

Job Requirements

  • Must possess a valid Texas license for SLP, SLPA, or SLP Fellow.
  • Being bilingual in Spanish is considered a significant plus.
