Position Overview

We are seeking motivated technicians with all levels of knowledge and experience to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial vehicles and components for all makes and models. Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred. Salary range depends on experience, from $45,000 to over $150,000.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately, following company and factory standards.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Save and tag parts for warranty or customer requests.
• Assess vehicles for safety or additional service needs.
• Communicate with service advisors or leadmen about additional work or delays.
• Document all work performed and recommendations.
• Participate in manufacturer training and stay updated on technical bulletins.
• Supervise apprentice technicians as assigned.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Service Manager or Shop Foreman.
• Maintain and return company tools and manuals in good condition.

Knowledge and Activity Requirements

Technicians must pass a background check and pre-hire drug / alcohol test. This is a safety-sensitive position under RWC policies. Preferred qualifications include hands-on diesel technician experience, Navistar or Cummins engine certification, ASE certification, and strong diagnostic skills. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in diesel engines is essential.
