• Location : Harrison Township, NJ 08062 (Southern New Jersey nursing jobs)\n
• Setting : Inpatient Med / Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, and Emergency Department Hold Units\n
• Contract Length : 13 weeks (potential for extension)\n
• Hours per Week : 36\n
• Schedule : Every other weekend and holiday required\n
• Employment Type : Local, On-Site Registered Nurse position\n

• Charting System : Cerner EMR\n
• Hourly Pay Rate : $83.70\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2,020 - $2,130\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in Med / Surg, Telemetry, or Stepdown nursing\n
• Active New Jersey or Compact RN License (Registered Nurse license)\n
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required\n
• Completion of Stroke CEUs and PCU or Critical Care course\n
• Proficient in EKG interpretation\n
• Willingness to float to various inpatient units as needed\n
• Must complete full orientation and all assigned modules on time\n
• Maximum of 3 days RTO (Requested Time Off) allowed\n\nRegistered Nurse Responsibilities\n
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to observation and inpatient status patients in Med / Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, and ED Hold units\n
• Float among inpatient units based on hospital census and patient needs\n
• Monitor and interpret EKGs, responding promptly to changes in patient condition\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
• Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR\n
• Participate in required orientation, training, and ongoing nursing education\n
