Hourly Pay Rate : $81.84

Emergency Room RN Job Details

Location : Quakertown, Pennsylvania (Zip : 18951) – Pennsylvania nursing jobs

Healthcare Setting : Emergency Department (ER)

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : December 22, 2025

Schedule : 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week (6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM)

Total Hours : 36 hours per week

Shift Rotation : Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Employment Type : Local, W2

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania

Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience

BLS certification (current)

ACLS and PALS certifications preferred

Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environment

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department

Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and urgent medical conditions

Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by physicians

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Accurately document all aspects of patient care in the electronic medical record

Educate and support patients and their families regarding care plans and discharge instructions

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with hospital policies
