Business Development Manager - Global Sales

  • We are a family owned, small to medium sized End-to-End Logistics Service Providerformed in 1977
  • Our strength lies in our loyal, long-tenured team
  • HQ ed in Los Angeles - staff in LA, NYC, Houston & Miami
  • pride ourselves with controlling the critical components needed to provide client solutions
  • We are US Customs Brokers, IATA, FMC & CTPAT compliant
  • Products include Air & Ocean Inbound / Outbound, Domestic US Services, Brokerage, Projects & W&D
  • Import & Customs Brokerage are largest revenue currently, Exports and Projects are growing very fast
  • We have partners across the world with strategic relationships with partners at all the key overseas manufacturing / sourcing hubs, vetted over the years who delivery superior partnerships
  • We are part of 3 global logistics networks - at 2 of them we are the Exclusive member covering USA
  • In addition, I manage a 450,000 sq ft fulfillment operation in Los Angeles, under a different brand, servicing high-profile apparel programs for NBA, NFL, NCAA and comparable retail brands

We are seeking a mid-level Sales professional who can focus on Import - Air & Ocean Freight, as well as Customs Brokerage. Ability to sell Transload and Delivery

Key points of the role

  • Remote - we are open to candidates based anywhere in the US(NY and LA could be great)
  • Strong focus on Import Freight (Air & Ocean) & Customs Clearance
  • Minimum of 5 year experience in Freight Forwarding Sales
  • Ready book of business is a plus
  • Closing deals independently
  • Reporting to the President
  • Will have inside sales & operational support
  • The candidate we are looking for should be a hunter with good product knowledge, ability to manage a full sales cycle from lead to close. Sales professionals from

    Compensation : Position offers $65-75,000 per year plus a generous commission on file's gross profits, benefits including medical & 401K match.
