Medical Office Coordinator (Creve Coeur)

Job description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Minimum 2 years medical office experience (Orthopedic Surgery preferred)

Knowledge of medical terminology

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Exhibits high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all documentation and correspondence

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to prioritize tasks, time sensitive reports and projects- able to meet deadlines

Ability to function well in a high-paced environment

Ability to work in a changing environment and handle multiple tasks as needed

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS :

Front Desk / Check-in

Assists at satellite offices as needed. Check-in / Check-Out. Transportation provided.

• Rooms Patients / assists with back office functions : chart prep, sorting records, entering orders, copying medical records, etc...

Data Entry for daily charges

Charge / Payment Posting as needed

Works specialty reports and / or projects as requested by management

Office based. Full-Time M-F. Some travel will be required, transportation provided by the office. Satellite locations are St. Robert, Cape Girardeau, and Jefferson City. Travel Days are Monday / Thursday / Friday 1-2 days per week.

Cross-trains to fill in for office coverage as needed
