• Description : Brattleboro Memorial Hospital BMH a community-focused not-for-profit hospital in scenic southern Vermont is actively seeking a full-time board-certified or board-eligible General Urologist to join our collaborative team. This is a unique opportunity to provide high-quality care in a modern facility with state-of-the-art surgical suites while enjoying a balanced schedule a supportive work environment and the exceptional quality of life that Vermont has to offer.Job Description : Provide comprehensive urological care to both adult and pediatric patientsDeliver care in both outpatient clinic settings and inpatient hospital settingsWork collaboratively with an established urologist and a nurse practitioner within a single-site practice located on the campus of Brattleboro Memorial HospitalPerform surgical procedures in new state-of-the-art operating roomsConduct hospital consultations and manage urological emergencies in the emergency departmentParticipate in a light on-call rotation covering one hospital site for 7 days per month with a 1 : 4 call scheduleNo involvement in trauma cases or robotic surgeriesUtilize Cerner Community Works for electronic medical records and clinical documentationMaintain a full-time schedule Monday through Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PMManage an average of 14–16 patients per dayProvide high-quality patient-centered care in a rural community-focused hospital environmentSupport departmental succession planning through active engagement and continuity of careCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective diagnosis treatment and follow-up careWill consider candidates with lapsed board certification if willing to recertifyOpen to new graduatesNot open to long-distance commuters or those seeking alternative shift arrangementsCompensation and Benefits : Competitive salary range based on experience and training to be discussed during the interviewProviders may submit salary expectations with their presentationSign-on bonus offered to the selected candidateHealth insurance including prescription drug coverageDental insurance coverageVision insurance coverageFlexible Spending Accounts FSAs for both health and dependent care expensesHealth Savings Account HSA options availableGenerous Paid Time Off PTO including vacation and sick leaveContinuing Medical Education CME allowance providedShort-term disability options availableEmployee Assistance Program EAP supportPublic Service Loan Forgiveness PSLF eligible employerReimbursement for onsite interview expenses including flight hotel rental car and mileage billed at IRWS standard rate
