  • Coverage Type : Clinical + Call.
  • Shift Schedule : Day shifts; 8-12 hrs.

Full time.

  • Call Schedule : Nights.
  • Call Type : Beeper.
  • Call Response Time : 60 mins.
  • Callback : 60%.
  • Phone Consults : 20.
  • Patient Volume : 5-10.
  • No. of Trauma Cases Daily : Varies.
  • Admissions : 2-5.
  • Rounding Included : Yes.
  • Support Staff : 5 APPs (2 APPs during day, 1 at night).
  • Duties : APP would be expected to round, assist in OR & respond to ED pages.
  • Required Procedures / Skills :

    • Suturing, comfortable performing fracture reductions.

  • Comfortable being independent then calling Trauma / Orthopaedic surgeons for backup.
  • Should have experience as an OR assist.
  • Beds in the Dept : 12-30.
  • Trauma Level : II.
  • EMR : Cerner.
  • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered.

    • Requirements :

  • Active PA License.
  • BC / BE.
  • ACLS.
  • With experience.
