About The Position

Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : Nuclear Medicine Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Tuesday - Friday

Hours per Shift : 9 hours

Experience : No prior job-related work experience required.

License : CPR Certification required.

Certifications : Nuclear Medicine registry required.

Must-Have : ODH licensure required. ARRT RT (R) registry required and / or NMTCB.

Description :

Independently performs Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of radiopharmaceuticals.

Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certification / licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture.

Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the Nuclear Medicine department including radiation protection practices.

Exercises professional judgment in the performance of duties to maintain equipment in good working condition.

May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs.

May have on-call responsibilities.

Preferred experience is one year in the specialized field of Nuclear Medicine.

Experience with EPIC is required.

Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Daily census is approximately 20 patients.

Special procedures may be performed as required.
