Job Position : Director of Engineering (Onsite)

Were looking for a strategic and technical Director of Engineering to lead our development teams. Youll oversee engineering teams building scalable, high-performance software platforms across a variety of domainsincluding cloud services, data infrastructure, user-facing applications, and real-time analytics. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive innovation and operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities :
- Lead and mentor multiple engineering teams (10+ team members).
- Define and execute the engineering roadmap in alignment with business goals.
- Be the primary technical contact for key clients, technology partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee and manage all external and internal communication regarding our engineering offerings.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Establish and enforce best practices in software development, architecture, and DevOps.
- Drive hiring, onboarding, and career development for engineers.
- Monitor KPIs and engineering metrics to ensure productivity and quality.
- Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and resource allocation.
- Champion a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to set long-term objectives, develop business plans, and align the engineering strategy with the companys overall goals.
- Oversee vendor and client relationships, ensuring that engineering tasks are delivered to client specifications, and escalate any issues or risks to senior leadership as necessary.
Requirements :
Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.10+ years of experience in software engineering, with 2+ years in leadership roles.Proven track record of managing large-scale engineering teams and delivering complex projects.Strong understanding of modern tech stacks, cloud infrastructure, and agile methodologies.Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.Experience with scaling systems, performance optimization, and technical architecture.Familiarity with compliance, security, and data privacy standards.Preferred Skills :
Knowledge of DRM and content protection technologies.Background in AI, machine learning, or data engineering is a plus.Experience in a startup or high-growth environment.Work Setup
