Cnc Operator

The CNC Operator is responsible for the timely and accurate production of metallic machined parts per the specifications and requirements of the shop traveler. The CNC Operator is also responsible for error-free processing of each order, and for completing the necessary paperwork and computer data entries associated with the CNC production process.

As a minimum, the following is a basic description of typical duties and responsibilities expected of the CNC Operator. These duties are not exhaustive and are subject to change as the needs of the organization require:

• Operate, maintain, clean, setup, load, and unload the CNC mills, lathes, and routers
• Effectively and efficiently carry out production process
• Regularly clean and maintain equipment
• Troubleshoot CNC mills, lathes, and routers
• Understand Sunshine Metals?? objectives and mission
• Adhere to all Sunshine Metals?? safety rules, regulations, quality standards and procedures
• Crosstrain other team members as assigned
