Description :
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing problems with all production and facility equipment. Additionally, the Maintenance Technician will perform routine preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and ensure produced products are of the highest quality and safe. This role will require daily documentation pertaining to downtime, spare parts, and preventative maintenance performed. This role will also assist with equipment changeovers and production as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, replace and / or overhaul all mechanical and electrical components
- Perform and document routine preventative maintenance in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime
- Assist Operators with product changeovers for assigned tasks to ensure minimal downtime
- Ensure manufacturing equipment is producing quality and safe products
- Adhere to safety processes to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Participate in continuous improvement process and provide suggestions
- Lay-out, install, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of complicated electrical equipment such as motors, drives, and computer / PLC control systems

Strong knowledge of machines in a manufacturing settingAbility to operate basic to sophisticated hand tools and possess knowledge of safety procedures and practicesFulfill physical requirements of the position including walking, standing, stooping and climbingAble to lift a maximum of 60 pounds and stand for an eight-hour work shiftFlexibility to work flexible hours including weekends if necessaryCommitted to quality, safety and communication- Excellent communication skills at a cross-functional levelPreferred Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.DBasic math skills requiredMinimum 1-year experience in machine maintenance or trade school
