Job Description

eTeam Inc is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Morristown, New Jersey.

Job Description & Requirements

Job Function

  • 1 : Assessment skills. Has competent knowledge of all the normal stages of growth and development from Pediatric to Geriatric and delivers patient care appropriately. Performs thorough assessments that are systematic, comprehensive and accurate.
  • Job Function :
  • 02. Clinical Skills. Consistently demonstrates competent clinical skills. Performs direct patient care activities in support of patient care delivery and team concept. Provides competent and appropriate nursing care to the population of the unit. Demonstrates knowledge and skill of emergency equipment and procedures.
  • Job Function :
  • 03. Documentation. Maintains complete and accurate documentation. Demonstrates knowledge of documentation guidelines. Assumes primary responsibility for documenting components of the nursing process and patient's progress toward meeting outcomes in the patient's chart including patient education.

  • 04. Professionalism. Demonstrates professional practice responsibility. Demonstrates knowledge of policies and procedures and is able to identify areas for clinical and professional growth.

  • 05. Patient Satisfaction. Consistently responds to patient's / families and co-workers in a professional, courteous, positive manner to promotes an environment where the patient and family is at the center and the patient care team works cooperatively toward their goal and objectives. Maintains confidentiality according to HIPPA guidelines.

  • 06. Safety. Consistently follows the National Patient Safety Goals including following Universal Protocol and identifying patient's utilizing 2 patient identifiers. Demonstrates use of safe transfer techniques and proper body mechanics for self, and patient's.
  • Job Function :

    • 07. Unit Specific Job Function. Demonstrates knowledge of the conditions / diagnoses, procedures and equipment encountered for surgical patient's. Individualizes patient care according to the procedure and type of anesthesia across the continuum of care. Assesses patient reaction and understanding of procedure / instructions.

  • Skill :

    • 1 year ICU experience - Required RN License - Required BLS - Required

  • Education :
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Associates or Bachelor's Degree -Preferred

    • Required 1+ Year experience in RN- ICU.\nBLS- AHA or ARC\nRN License.\n\nBenefits : \nHealth Insurance, Dental, Vision Insurance, 401k after 30 days
