Event Maintenance Specialist

Summary : Provides building maintenance. Performs the set up and changeover of the arena event to event.
Essential Functions (including, but not limited to...) :
- Responsible for keeping facility at a presentable cleanliness and sanitation level
- Operate and maintain all cleaning devices
- Responsible for complete facility changeover as required by the event schedule and facility guidelines
- Assist with emergency repairs to Arena equipment to ensure the success of a change over
- Performs craft services such as minor plumbing, minor electrical, minor carpentry, and painting
- Make scheduled equipment rounds and logs pertinent operating data

While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is continuously asked to multi-task under time limits. Position requires constant attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards including : following simple to complex (more than 3 steps) instructions, and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time. This position also requires constant use of interpersonal skills including : ability to foster collaboration, recognize and resolve conflicts, and openly communicate with co-workers / clients / supervisors.Physical Demands :
While performing the essential functions of the job, the employee constantly moves about the event site before / during / after events and lifts, pulls, holds, pushes and places heavy objects; constantly is required to exchange accurate information verbally.Work Environment :
The essential functions of this position are usually performed indoors and occasionally outdoors in the weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud during events and when setting up / breaking down equipment, and minimal during non-events and when not setting up / breaking down equipment.
