Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN House Supervisor for a travel nursing job in Birmingham, Alabama.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty : House Supervisor

  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift : 12 hours, nights
  • Employment Type : Travel

Position : Registered Nurse (RN) – Night

Shift : 3x12 (Night)

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver quality care and ensure nursing care plans are followed.
  • Supervise LPNs, NAs, and orientees; assume Charge Nurse responsibilities.
  • Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission.
  • Develop individualized plans of care and identify patient / family teaching needs.
  • Participate in patient rehabilitation and education programs.
  • Initiate discharge planning from day of admission.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses.
  • Communicate patient status changes to care providers and attending physicians.
  • Direct, train, and supervise ancillary nursing personnel.
  • Maintain patient and staff safety, adhering to hospital policies.
  • Monitor supplies, equipment, and cost-effective care delivery.
  • Engage in professional development and continuing education.

    • Behavioral & Safety Focus :

  • Promote patient and employee safety; observe 10-Foot Circle of Safety.
  • Encourage positive team functioning and provide calm leadership.
  • Follow hospital guidelines for personal appearance, attendance, and punctuality.

    • Requirements / Skills :

  • BLS Certification : Required
  • ACLS Certification : Required
  • Minimum 2 Years Bedside Clinical Experience : Highly desired
  • Charge Nurse Experience : Required
