Security Professional - Armed Patrol - Morning Shift

As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol - Morning Shift in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a location within the auto industry. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to incidents as they arise. You will interact with employees, visitors, and customers, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. This armed position requires a strong sense of professionalism and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Pay Rate : $19.56 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeWed07 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PMFri06 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PMSat07 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the auto dealership and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas within the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and / or other unwanted activity.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
  • Document observations, incidents, and / or activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as necessary during incidents or emergencies.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have a minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
