Position Summary
The Clinician is responsible for providing therapeutic, diagnostic, and support services to individuals and families receiving care through Bright Rising Home Care Services. The role involves assessing mental, behavioral, and emotional health needs; developing individualized service plans; and delivering evidence-based interventions that promote recovery, independence, and community integration. The clinician collaborates with multidisciplinary staff, including peer support specialists, paraprofessionals, and agency administrators, to ensure high-quality, person-centered care in accordance with Medicaid and state regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, service evaluations, and diagnostic interviews using approved tools.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment or person-centered plans (PCPs) tailored to client needs and goals.
- Provide individual, family, or group therapy sessions within the scope of practice and according to Medicaid and LME / MCO requirements.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation per HIPAA and agency standards.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and coordinate care with primary physicians, peer support, and community partners.
- Provide clinical supervision and consultation to direct-care and paraprofessional staff as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with state licensure, Medicaid documentation, and audit standards.
- Respond to crisis situations and support client stabilization when necessary.
- Maintain knowledge of current clinical best practices, community resources, and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications
Education : Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.Licensure : Must hold an active North Carolina license or associate license (e.g., LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, LPA, LCAS, or provisional equivalent).Experience : Minimum of 2 years providing mental health or substance use services; experience in community-based or home-based settings preferred.Knowledge / Skills :Familiarity with Medicaid, MCO documentation, and Person-Centered Planning.Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.Ability to maintain professional boundaries and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.________________________________________
Physical and Work Requirements
Ability to travel locally for home visits, meetings, or trainings.Maintain valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.Must pass required background checks and maintain current CPR / First Aid certification.________________________________________
