About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : Active RN License in VA or compact state

Certifications : ACLS, BLS

Must-Have :

• Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience in telemetry

Description :

This position is for a medical-surgical unit with progressive care patients.

The unit consists of 28 beds, including 8 progressive care beds.

The patient population primarily includes adults and geriatrics.

Patients have a range of complex medical conditions, including gastrointestinal, cardiac, renal, hepatic, endocrine, and respiratory disorders.

Special emphasis is on gynecological disorders and surgeries.

The care approach is multidisciplinary, involving physicians, case managers, homecare, pharmacy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and social work to ensure quality and safe care.

Telemetry bedside monitoring is available for progressive care beds along with remote telemetry support.

Candidates should possess strong clinical skills and be comfortable floating within their specialty as needed.

Epic charting experience is required.

A BSN is preferred.

Candidates must pass a background check.

All candidates are required to follow policies related to natural nails, and fingerprinting may be necessary.

Candidates should plan accordingly for potential processing delays.
