Tax Associate

Location : Omaha, NE (Hybrid - Remote / On-Site)

Compensation : $70,000 - $110,000 + Bonus

Job Type : Full-Time

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Tax Associate with 6+ years of professional tax and accounting experience to join our Omaha team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys client interaction, complex tax work, and wants to grow into a leadership or ownership role.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns.

Manage multiple client relationships with accuracy and professionalism.

Research and interpret federal and state tax laws.

Perform bookkeeping, general ledger, and payroll tasks using QuickBooks.

Support year-end planning, quarterly projections, and client advisory projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).

6+ years of experience in tax preparation and accounting.

Proficiency with QuickBooks and common tax software.

Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills.

EA or CPA preferred (or actively pursuing).
