Do you take pride in turning raw bar into life-changing medical components? Imagine stepping up to a Star CNC Swiss lathe, loading material, and bringing a part from print to perfect—holding tight tolerances, verifying features against GD&T, and documenting every step for full traceability. That’s the craft you’ll practice here.

The challenge

• Independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot Star CNC Swiss machines to produce precision medical implants.
• Control dimensions through smart offsets, tool changes, and parameter tweaks.
• Interpret blueprints, setup sheets, and work instructions to meet customer requirements.
• Measure what matters with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and optical comparators.
• Execute routine and daily preventive maintenance (P.M.) to maximize uptime.
• Record first-piece inspections, work orders, and maintenance logs without fail.
• Follow rigorous quality procedures including identification and traceability protocols.
• Team up with engineering and quality to elevate process capability and yield.
• Keep a spotless, safe, 5S-aligned work area.
