About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, M&A to join its corporate development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full M&A lifecycle, including sourcing, conducting due diligence, evaluating, and executing acquisitions. This role is pivotal in driving the company's growth strategy, with a focus on a roll-up strategy in the near term. The VP, M&A will also be involved in partnerships and selective divestitures as the company's strategy evolves. Key responsibilities include building market maps, developing investment theses, leading cross-functional diligence, and owning financial models and investment materials. The role demands a high level of expertise in financial modeling, underwriting, and a strong understanding of healthcare services, particularly in the context of HIPAA / BAA constructs.
Applicants for the VP, M&A position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in private equity, independent sponsor, investment banking, or corporate development, with a proven track record of closed transactions. Strong financial modeling and underwriting skills are essential, as is familiarity with healthcare services and contact center exposure. The ideal candidate will have excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and a network among lower-middle-market sponsors, bankers, and lenders in healthcare services. Experience with TSAs, carve-outs, and cross-border tuck-ins, as well as exposure to AI / automation in service operations, is a plus. The role also requires the ability to mentor and instill high standards in deal hygiene and documentation.
