Advanced Practice Provider - Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine (Part-Time)

Sentara Medical Group is seeking a Part-Time Advanced Practice Provider with Acute Care training and experience in Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine to help support the Intensive Care Units at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Sentara Leigh Hospital, and Sentara Princess Anne Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to join a distinguished team that delivers top-tier care.

Position Highlights :

• Part-Time, 0.5 FTE (20 hours per week)
• Locations : Norfolk and Virginia Beach
• Procedures Performed by APP at Bedside : Central Lines, Udalls, Arterial Lines, Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Chest tube placements
• Schedule - Day Shift : 8a-6p / Night Shift is 6p-7a, 1 : 3 weekends, Rotating at least 2 nights per month
• ICU Beds Covered per Hospital : SPAH 16, SLH 20, SNGH 63
• Epic EMR
• 100% Inpatient responsibilities

These positions are inpatient only managing critically ill patients in the ICU setting, with a goal of full privileges to perform bedside procedures independently
