About Bright Side: We are the go-to coffee & brunch spot in the bustling community of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Our menu is fresh, healthy and Australian-focused, with creative and captivating dishes that look as good as they taste. We pride ourselves on serving a diverse yet dedicated menu of popular brunch dishes, believing that quality always surpasses quantity. Our current hours are from 7am - 4pm [Monday to Friday] and 8am - 4pm [Saturday & Sunday]. Availability to work between the hours of 6:30am to 4:30pm daily is essential, and you must be available on weekends. The Role: We are looking for an excited, motivated, and experienced Cafe Cook to help us to continue to serve our all-day-cafe concept into the local neighborhood. The ideal team member loves working in a fun & fast-paced team environment, thrives in a kitchen atmosphere, and is motivated by success, as well as team and individual growth. Our kitchen team is small but very effective, with 2 to 3 BOH staff working during the shift (depending on the day of the week). The team prepares both hot (eg. scrambled egg dishes, breakfast sandwiches & burritos) and cold dishes (eg. smoothies, acas bowls). You MUST be able to multi-task and partake with ALL AREAS of the kitchen including line-cooking, prep-cooking, dishwashing, and general cleaning.Responsibilities:
