Job Description
RCL Mechanical, Inc. is looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk. This position requires individuals to multi-task, be highly organized and detail oriented, and be able to work on a team. Candidates should have strong verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to stay focused at the task at hand. The candidate must be proficient in Excel and have QuickBooks Online experience.
The Position
Key Responsibilities
- Review and enter vendor invoices, match with purchase orders
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies
- Generate and manage monthly commercial AIA billing
- Monitor and manage outstanding accounts receivable
- Prepare and submit required documentation, including W-9s, Certified Payroll, DEI reports, lien waivers, and Certificates of Insurance (COIs)
- Communicate with project managers and vendors regarding payment status and outstanding documentation
- Support the monthly financial close process
- Perform general administrative tasks related to accounting functions
