Experience with ventilated patients

Knowledge of pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications

Ability to assist with line insertion and maintenance

Experience with post-surgical lines, tubes, and drains

Description :

Registered Nurse needed for Neuro Critical Care.

36 hours per week available.

Candidates must be willing to float to other critical care units as needed.

The Neuro Critical Care Unit includes 10 beds and serves as a primary stroke center, handling ischemic cases, thrombectomies, and hemorrhagic conditions, among others.

Surgical cases include tumor resections and brain / spine abscesses, as well as neuro-medical conditions such as meningitis and encephalitis.

The Surgical Intensive Care Unit includes 18 beds and treats surgical, trauma, neuro, and sepsis patients.

Candidates must have experience with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and ICP monitoring.

Experience managing ventilated patients and administering critical medications is essential.

The role involves assisting with line insertions and maintenance, as well as familiarity with post-surgical care, including ventilating patients and managing various drainage systems.
