Responsibilities Texoma Medical Center, a -bed acute care facility has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 5. Our main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. POSITION SUMMARY: The Registered Dietitian is responsible for assessing the nutritional status of the inpatient/outpatient population; developing a nutritional plan of care and implementing Medical Nutrition Therapy alongside an interdisciplinary team. The Registered Dietitian will assist training and performance improvement as needed, and provide education to the community periodically.
Qualifications BS degree in Food, Nutrition, or Dietetics required.
One-year experience as a dietitian in a healthcare setting preferred.
Registered Dietician/Licensed Dietician registered in state of Texas; or RD eligible.
BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines must be completed during new hire orientation prior to working in a clinical setting.
Good written and oral communication skills required. Typing and basic computer skills desired. Experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
