Prenatal Services Manager

Siouxland Community Health Center has an opening for : Prenatal Services Manager Full-time position - typical hours are Monday-Friday 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm. Education, Training and Skills : Graduate of Registered Nursing Program with Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required. Minimum 2 years successful work experience as an RN, with clinical experience at an FQHC, or OB / GYN, Labor & Delivery preferred. Previous leadership or supervisory experience is strongly desired, preferably in a clinic setting. Previous experience training and developing staff. Strong computer and data entry skills with EMR experience. Current RN licensure, BCLS and Mandatory Reporter certifications.

General Functions of Position : Manage and lead day-to-day operational functions of Prenatal department. Supervise all clinical (nursing) staff within department and train new staff. Serve as working manager, filling in during clinical hours whenever needed. Maintain department budget. Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of required reports, reconciliations and / or audits relative to functions of department(s) managed. Coordinate and maintain Immunization program, ensuring standards are met or exceeded, and ensure clinic staff are properly educated on accurate immunization updates, policies, and changes. Collaborate with other executives, directors and managers to facilitate efficient flow and staffing of other clinical areas. Ensure that all SCHC policies, procedures, and grant requirements are met.
