Job Description

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Smyrna, Tennessee.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty : ICU - Intensive Care Unit
  • Discipline : RN
  • Start Date : 01 / 29 / 2026
  • Duration : 11 weeks
  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift : 12 hours, nights
  • Employment Type : Local Contract

Unit Specifics :

  • Number of Beds : 16
  • Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : tech for unit
  • Type of equipment : GE Monitors, Nova glucometers, Pyxis med dispense, drager vents
  • Documentation system : Meditech
  • Scheduling requirements : Every other weekend
  • Floating policy : In rotation with full time staff and other travelers
  • Patient Experience requirements : AIDET, completion of communication board, medication teaching

    • Hospital Specifics-

  • Certifications : Trauma III

    • Must have : positive attitude, teamwork, problem solving\n\n\nAdvanced skills needed : ventilator / sedation management, medication titration\n \n\nProcedures performed on unit : trach placement, bronchoscopy, cardioversion\n\n \nCertifications Required : BLS, ACLS
